The first day of school is always a moment of excitement in Brentwood Borough. This year, it carries even more meaning—it’s the last first day for Elroy and Moore Elementary Schools. By this time next fall, students will be starting fresh inside a brand-new Brentwood Elementary School, a project now rising steadily from the ground.

Thanks to newly released drone photos and videos, the community is getting its best look yet at the progress being made. From above, you can already see the footprints of classrooms, hallways, and gathering spaces that will soon be filled with Brentwood students.

At the heart of this project is Massaro Construction Group, the company leading the effort to bring the new school to life. 

On the Brentwood site, their team has been busy orchestrating the intricate work of excavation, foundation pouring, utility installation, and structural framing. The recently released aerial images highlight not only the visible progress, but also the behind-the-scenes coordination—ensuring everything is done on schedule and on budget.

The new Brentwood Elementary School is on track to open in August 2026, just in time for the 2026–27 school year.

For now, the drone images serve as both progress report and inspiration—a reminder that Brentwood is not just watching a school being built, but a legacy taking shape.
