Brentwood is pleased to be an active member of the South Hills Area Council of Governments (SHACOG). This voluntary association assists our borough and neighboring communities with joint planning and purchasing.  The organization also helps local municipalities to achieve economies of scale through regional administration of several critical programs, such as overseeing cable television franchising, maintaining equipment for sewer camera inspections, and managing solid waste contracts.  For more information, visit the agency website.
